                                                      Atlas Grind Biography

 

 

Atlas Grind was born and raised in Akron, Ohio he also lived several years in Atlanta, Georgia and Cedar Rapids, Iowa he never loss touch with his R&B/Soul Roots.

 

Atlas Grind, is said to be the most quintessential R&B/Soul/HipHop Artist, to appear on the music scene in quite sometime since the Talented Babyface, the Great Smokey Robinson and the late Greats Marvin Gaye and Sam Cooke. Atlas is not only a very talented Singer, but he is also a very talented self-contain Songwriter, Arranger and Producer.

 

His musical influences growing up as a kid was the late Great Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, Jodeci, Boyz 2 Men, and Usher.

 

Atlas Grind the Entertainer 25/M singer, song writer, performer, has graced stages across the country co-wrote and produced musical genius with legends in the recording industry. 

 

Ohio native moved to Atlanta, Ga with his loving church going parents Mr. & Mrs. Davis along with his siblings they found a love for music at a young age, they formed a family trio known as Trilogy. They had such an electric presence about themselves, their shows left audiences in awe, but soon school would seperate the brothers, however Atlas Grind would eventually go solo. Atlas moved to central Florida briefly and atteneded N.B.E. recording school where he mastered his production and engineering skils.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After long when promises weren't kept and money ran slow Atlas put his dreams on hold, then moved to Iowa to obtain his CDL License and started a career in truck driving.

 

After being dismissed from the trucking company almost immediately after and now stranded in Iowa, he was forced to use his singing skills to make ends meat.

 

He then met a young woman who had connections with the music scene in Iowa, sung for her, she then made a call to this upcoming production company, who then took him straight into the studio were they created a track called Over You ft. Warbucks, by the way Warbucks was the man on the Iowa music scene.

 

"Atlanta is where I mastered my music skills, but in Iowa is where I found my true talent".

 

I released 10 underground albums in 4years, selling over 300,000 albums/cds independently out the trunk of my car.

 

In these various markets: Iowa, Ohio, Chicago, St. Louis, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Detroit, and Las Vegas. And also performed live shows in those same markets.

 

Atlas created a strong undergroud street buzz, somehow his music landed into the hands of New York Executive's at Danger Zone Records.
